Fall Kick-Off Family Tailgate

This event is open to the whole family. We want to have a chance to get to know all the parents, and for you to connect with your student’s covenant leader. Each covenant group will have a few tables, so bring a snack to share (think Superbowl party or Tailgate food.)

Nuke’Em Night

This is exactly what it says, a fun night for students to get together to connect &  play Nuke’Em (a twist on Volleyball, you don’t need much skill).
When: Sept 21, 7:00-9:00pm

Family Promise Bed Races

Join Family Promise of Montgomery County Bed Races to help end childhood homelessness! Family Promise, one of our mission partners at Christ Church UM, serves homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation and other compassionate assistance leading to independence. The Bed Races is an annual fundraiser they do that is a fun event to engage community members. This will be our first time participating. Students and a few adults will be designing a bed, putting it together, decorating, and actually racing it!


Saturday, October 5th is the Fundraiser Race, 9:30am -12:00pm (Lonestar College -Montgomery Campus)

Work Day:

Sept 22nd 12:00-3:00pm (Will provide lunch and students will help put together the bed and decorate)We will reserve Oct 2 4:30-6:00pm, if needed to complete work.

Spooky Games

Join us for late night games as we lock down the church after dark and play Capture the Flag, Zombies,  and the coveted Sardines.
Costumes encouraged. Snacks & Candy provided.

Senior Serve Day

This is a great opportunity for students in 7th-12th grade to get to know another generation (Senior adults from Christ Church)” and what better way then lending a hand with some light house or yard work. Service projects can range from: changing light-bulbs or air filters, dusting hard to reach places, cutting grass, or cleaning gutters, etc.
When: Nov 16, 9:30 am-12:30pm
Where: Meet in Church front parking lot, will ride together to homes in small teams
Wear: Clothes that can dirty, close-toed shoes, & work gloves (maybe helpful)
